A new set of Gran Turismo 7 Weekly Challenges lands this Friday, July 24, once your console clock rolls past midnight into the new week. Five events are up for grabs over the next seven days, along with the usual run of bonus tickets for anyone who clears them.
If you’re new to the format, Weekly Challenges unlock once you’ve cleared the GT Cafe career through Menu Book 39 and sat through the ending movie. Each set pairs four standard World Circuits races with one Special Event built just for the week, and completing them earns bonus tickets at one, three, and five events completed, delivered to your Gifts and needing to be redeemed before the set expires.
Clear the whole thing with clean race bonuses intact and there’s roughly 1.3m credits in cash and prizes on the table.
This Week’s Highlights
The Special Event is the one to watch: The Pass, a Mission Challenge around the Nurburgring Nordschleife, run in the Porsche 911 Turbo S Safety Car (992) that arrived with the Update 1.70 hypercar patch back in June.
It’s a short one, starting just after the Karussell and finishing just past the Eiskurve (between Brunnchen and Pflanzgarten) and it’s over in a little more than a minute. That stretch is one of the tightest, most technical sections of the entire circuit, and the other cars on track are moving slowly enough that any contact ends your run early. Pass all the cars and you’ll pocket 20,000cr.
On the World Circuits side, the World Touring Car 700 at Autopolis closes out the set with the week’s biggest single payout at 130,000cr. It’s a 10-lap race capped at 700PP, and with tire wear set to 7x and fuel consumption to 10x, it’s the only event this week where pit strategy actually factors in.
The Nissan GT-R Cup at Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve is the second-highest reward at 88,000cr, a five-lap one-make affair on Sports Hard tires. The World Rally Challenge takes the field onto Sardegna’s Windmills stage for 65,000cr, while the Japanese FF Challenge 450 opens the week at Blue Moon Bay Speedway’s Infield A as the low point of the four standard races, worth 50,000cr over four laps.
